This christmas many think that HDTV's are gonna sell. So as people make the change to HDTV's, I wonder if people won't start looking for High Defintion video also. If they know that PS3 comes with Blu ray already, that might make the price seem better. But people have to be searchig for High Definition video. I don't know. So far PS3 blu ray player has not been seen as an asset. But maybe when High Definition Video is in demand it might.
It will be interesting if people buy the Core. They didn't before when it was $299. XBOX 360 Premuim and Elite are the bigger sellers.
I think PS3 price cut will make a bit of a difference. Especially that games are gonna start coming out. This month is was The Darkness and Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Next month Lair comes out. And E3 is Wednesday so we'll see how Sony does there. More games mean more excitment and usually more sales.

The red button effect is nothing new. Even the old PS3 adds had the button glowing red. I even thought that my controller was defected at first because it didn't glow red. But it was just an advertising effect. So no this doesn't mean that the controllers will have rumble.
I do think the controllers will change for PS3, and they will add rumble. If the light glows red, that would me it even cooler. But I don't think they will come with the 80GB bundle already.
This is just a stupid rumor, based off the poster that has the XBOX 360 logo. Nothing more, so people shouldn't be thinking it's true. All other things point to the game coming out for both consoles. But this actual story about the poster came out yesterday.

The 80GB comes in a bundle with Motorstorm. So that could cut confusion a bit. the $599 will be seen as a bundle with a game and extras, while the $499 might be seen as the standard. So just maybe people will see $499 as the standard, not the $599. That could be what makes it different from before when they had 2 sku's.
